Foley Foundation to release 2025 Bringing Americans Home research report

WASHINGTON – The James W. Foley Legacy Foundation will release the results of its seventh annual Bringing Americans Home research report, which evaluates the effectiveness of U.S. government hostage policy and its support for families of Americans unjustly held captive abroad.

Elizabeth Richards, the Foundation’s Director of Research and Hostage Advocacy, will present the report’s findings and policy recommendations. The event will open with remarks from Foundation President and Founder Diane Foley. A panel of experts will discuss the report’s implications, followed by remarks from members of Congress.
