The CELL, The Denver Post, and the University of Denver present Colorado Remembers 9/11, a special commemoration marking the 25th anniversary September 11. The evening will honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, recognize the heroes who answered the call, and pay tribute to the service members and first responders who continue to protect our nation.

Presidential Historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning Author Doris Kearns Goodwin and CNN National Security Analyst Peter Bergen will headline a keynote conversation centered on “The Best of America: Leadership that Unites in Times of Crisis.” In this conversation, Doris and Peter explore how exceptional leaders have helped Americans transcend division during defining moments, from the Civil War to the Great Depression and World War II to the aftermath of 9/11, and what today’s leaders can learn from those examples.
