Peter Bergen, journalist, author and CNN terrorism analyst, will speak at Northwest Missouri State University as part of its Distinguished Lecture Series. In 1997, as a producer for CNN, Bergen produced Osama bin Laden’s first television interview. His lecture is at 8 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Performing Arts Center’s Mary Linn Auditorium.
